Status figures count only companies with a verified status (2+ independent sources, checked within 12 months); the survival rate appears once at least 20 are verified. Closed companies are harder to verify than live ones, so early figures may overstate survival. On-air deals don't always close after the show. Dollar and equity shares for multi-shark deals are estimates assuming an equal split.
