Corrections Policy

We aim to be accurate, and we fix mistakes quickly and openly.

How corrections work

• When we learn of a possible error, we re-check it against the sources in our editorial policy.
• If the page is wrong, we correct it. A corrected status verdict gets a new verification date and its sources.
• If sources conflict and we can't resolve it, we mark the status as unknown rather than guess.
